DAO

As a core component of the decentralized social platform, ITX DAO bears the heavy responsibility of platform governance, dedicated to gradually transitioning ITRIX from platform-led to community-led, ultimately realizing the vision of "community-owned, community-governed." The establishment of DAO is not only a practice of Web3 spirit but also a key mechanism to ensure the transparency, fairness, and sustainability of the ecosystem.

The future ITRIX will not be just a product, but a social public domain built and governed together. ITX DAO will become the core engine of this public domain.

DAO Governance Foundation and Token Attributes

ITX is not only a functional token of the platform but also a DAO governance token. Users holding ITX have the right to participate in proposals, voting, and governance. The governance mechanism will integrate token holdings and reputation points, ensuring both asset investment and long-term participant governance weight, embodying the governance philosophy of "valuing both contribution and investment."

Governance Scope and Evolution Path

Initially, ITX DAO will gradually take over the following key matters:

  • Economic Model Adjustment: Including incentive coefficients, reward split ratios, etc.
  • Ecosystem Fund Usage: Supporting funding proposals for developers, creators, and community projects
  • Protocol Function Governance: Listing/delisting new modules, function plugins, etc.
  • Community Norm Setting: Such as content management, behavior guidelines, etc.
  • Node and Technical Evolution Path: Deciding on the direction of underlying protocol or technical migration solutions

Proposal Process and Organizational Structure

Proposal Process

  • Qualification Threshold: Proposals must meet certain ITX holdings and reputation points.
  • Discussion Phase: Proposals are published to the DAO forum, opening community discussion and modification suggestions.
  • On-chain Voting: Proposals with initial support enter on-chain voting, using multi-round or weighted voting mechanisms.
  • Implementation Phase: Approved proposals are executed by the multisig committee or directly trigger smart contracts.

Governance Incentive Mechanism

To promote users' active participation in DAO governance, the platform will design a clear incentive system:

  • Voting Rewards: Distribute a certain percentage of ITX incentives to users who participate in voting;
  • Proposal Incentives: Quality proposers can receive reputation points, NFT badges, or token rewards;
  • Community Task Integration: Encourage participation in roles such as content review, guild governance, and community maintenance, and grant governance rights and rewards;
  • Social Value Binding: Combined with the social value measurement system, DAO governance will be deeply integrated with user reputation, enhancing governance quality and sense of responsibility.

Governance Principles

ITX DAO will follow the following principles:

  • Public Transparency: Proposals, voting, and results are all chain-verifiable and publicly audited;
  • Fair Consistency: DAO rules treat all users and team members equally;
  • Flexible Emergency Response: Allows technical teams to urgently intervene in security risks or system-level emergencies with community authorization, requiring public filing and review after the fact;
  • Gradual Decentralization: The platform will gradually delegate power with phased goals, with DAO authority increasing with community maturity.
